About Appraisal One, Inc.

Appraisal One, Inc., an appraisal management company based in Bellevue, has been serving clients in Western Washington since 1990. The founder and CEO of Appraisal One, James Girardot, began his career in the real estate field while a college student. At the time, the Realtor profession took pride in analyzing and advising the public on property values. Reference to such work was even an integral section of the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Realtors at that time. Thus, the learning experience and the sage advice of mentors from the founder's beginning emphasized the proper valuing and marketing of real properties. From classes at the local Realtor board level to seminars sponsored by the State Association of Realtors, properly valuing properties has been the backbone of the founder's successful career as a Realtor and now as the leader of the Appraisal One management company.

We offer the finest business practices to everyone we work with by using appraisers with the greatest knowledge and customer service ability, and then providing them with the best technology available. We recognize that while a single point of contact for all your appraisal needs is a tremendous benefit, it is only worthwhile if you are assured that your instructions will be followed and that you will receive the feedback you need as a lender. Appraisal One will provide you with accurate and proactive information on the status of all files. To you as a lender this means a significant reduction in the time involved to have a quality appraisal completed, which further reduces the overhead in accounting, reviewing, and processing time on all your appraisals.

Many traditional management companies rely on appraisers willing to take a significant reduction in their fees. This often makes it difficult to provide the most qualified appraisers. It may also result in an appraisal assignment not receiving the same high priority as one for a full fee client. Working with a professional appraisal management company should be as beneficial for lenders as it is for appraisers, from both a workflow and cashflow standpoint. In all aspects of our contact with borrowers we strive to be a friendly and professional representative of all parties involved.

At Appraisal One, we respect the work that lenders and appraisers do. We treat each appraiser like a business partner rather than one of thousands of vendors. Appraisal One expects to be a company of people you can count on – for referrals, for technical consulting, and for your work.
